Introduction

Welcome to Coin Odyssey. These Terms of Use govern your use of the Coin Odyssey desktop application ("Application"). By downloading, installing, or using Coin Odyssey, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the Application.

License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Coin Odyssey grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application on devices that you own or control for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

This license is granted under the MIT License, which permits you to:

  • Use the software without restriction
  • Study how the software works and modify it
  • Redistribute the software
  • Distribute modified versions of the software

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Application.

Prohibited Activities

When using the Application, you shall not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Application
  • Use the Application for any commercial purpose without our explicit permission
  • Distribute or share licensed copies of the Application
  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Application, except as permitted by applicable law or the MIT License
  • Remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notice or identification, including copyright, trademark, patent or other notices, contained in or displayed on the Application

User Content and Data

The Application allows you to input, upload, and store data related to your coin collection ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content, and you are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of your User Content
  • Backing up and maintaining your User Content
  • Any consequences that may arise from your User Content

We do not claim ownership of your User Content but request that you do not input or upload any content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.

Intellectual Property

The Application, including its code, design, logos, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Coin Odyssey and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Subject to the MIT License terms, you may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Application without explicit permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Application will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected
  • The Application is free of viruses or other harmful components
  • The results of using the Application will meet your requirements

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COIN ODYSSEY, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APPLICATION.

This limitation of liability shall apply whether such liability arises from tort, contract, negligence, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory, and whether or not COIN ODYSSEY has been informed of the possibility of such damage.

Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Your continued use of the Application after we post any modifications to the Terms constitutes your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
